Marie Bernoi currently serves as the Unit Chief for the Identity Intelligence Unit (I2U) at the Terrorist Screening Center (TSC).  The I2U’s mission is to ensure Known or Suspected Terrorist (KST) records are as robust as possible in support of watchlisting, screening and information sharing. Ms. Bernoi also served as the Unit Chief for the TSC’s Mission Development Unit.

Ms. Bernoi has been with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for over 27 years, serving in a variety of positions. Ms. Bernoi began her career with the FBI as a Training Instructor. She was responsible for developing the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) video training program used to training law enforcement professional across the United States.  After leaving the NCIC program, Ms. Bernoi became an Arts and Information Specialist in the FBI’s largest division known as the Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS). Here she served as a senior video producer, photographer and audio-video technician providing support and creating products for use by the law enforcement community, the FBI field and headquarters divisions as well as FBI international partners.  Ms. Bernoi then had the opportunity to be part of the transition and liaison team for the FBI’s Next Generation Identification program.  In this role, she served as the Federal Liaison representative for the FBI’s federal partners to ensure they would be prepared for the FBI’s move from the current fingerprint identification system known as IAFIS to the new more advanced biometrics systems known as the Next Generation Identification system or NGI. 

Prior to working at the TSC, Ms. Bernoi was a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in the CJIS Division, Global Operations Section, Global Initiatives Unit (GIU) where she served as the program manager for the Quick Capture Platform initiative. In this position Ms. Bernoi was responsible
