Mr. Jonathan Hare is the CEO and founder of WebShield Inc. He is a serial entrepreneur and technology executive, and has
held a variety of executive roles spanning strategy, product management,
software development, strategic alliances, and marketing. Mr. Hare has broad expertise in Internet and enterprise software, security and privacy technology, electronic health records, healthcare policy, etc. He has been a member of the Health IT Standards Panel's Security and Privacy Technical Committee, the Identity Credential Management Working Group, the Markle Foundation Consumer Authentication Working Group, and the Markle Foundation Personal Health Technology Council. He has testified before Congress on Health IT policies.
He has broad expertise in privacy, cybersecurity, cloud technology, informatics, and legal and regulatory compliance. He has been granted three patents for trusted social networking, identity syndication, privacy preserving data sharing and analytics. Jonathan was the co-principal investigator for Resilient Network Systems on the AHRQ-funded Scalable Distributed Research Network initiative, as well as for the NSTIC (National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace) Patient-Centered Coordination of Care and Zero-Knowledge Identity and Privacy Protection pilots.
