Haria Haught is an International Association for Identification (IAI) Certified Latent Print Examiner and currently manages the Biometric Identification and Multi-Media Units at the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. As of 2016, Mrs. Haught started her career 14 years ago at Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office as a Tenprint Examiner. She has taught in the area of fingerprint/latent print and courtroom testimony on a number of platforms nationally at agencies, schools, universities, conferences and the like. She also is a contractor for other forensic related businesses and is utilized as an examiner for caseload reduction and as an installer and trainer for other professionals in the field with regard to Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS).  In the courtroom, she has been qualified as an expert in her discipline on numerous cases. Mrs. Haught also holds a Master of Science Degree in Forensic Studies and runs a Forensic Consulting Business. She has held the position of Region Director, 3rd-2nd-1st Vice President, President and Chairman of the Board for the Florida Division of the International Association for Identification (FDIAI) as well. Mrs. Haught has dedicated herself to her discipline and is continually seeking a proactive approach to the Biometric field.
