Ken Kroupa
Director, Defense Biometrics and Forensics
Office of the Secretary of Defense
Mr. Ken Kroupa serves in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as the Director, Defense Biometrics and Forensics. In that role, he executes the Principal Staff Assistant's day to day responsibilities for Defense Biometric and Forensic Enterprises. These responsibilities include: research, development, test, and evaluation; strategic planning; management oversight; policy development; technical leadership; and coordination with U.S. government agencies and other external partners for biometric and forensic activities. Prior to coming to this office, Mr. Kroupa served 25 years as a United States Army Military Police Officer in numerous command and staff assignments culminating with a position on the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Pentagon.
