Mr. John Willison was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in August 2011. He serves as the Director, Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate, U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center, U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. As the Director, Mr. Willison is responsible for providing the strategic direction for the organization and leading research, development, and engineering in network science, cyber electromagnetic activities and cyber defense, next generation waveforms, software defined radios, network operations, content and context based networking, protected satellite communications, antennas, spectrum management, and evolutionary commercial wireless technologies.
