Jim Michaud is the Director of CyberTalent Solutions for the SANS Institute, a leading provider of information security training. He also teaches human resources at the highly regarded School of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University. He is a frequent guest speaker on topics of high interest to the global HR community. Prior to SANS, Jim was the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer at Cliffs Natural Resources, a global mining company. He was previously the Vice President of Human Resources at Arcelor Mittal, the world's largest steel producer where he was responsible for all aspects of human resources and labor relations of North and South America. Mr. Michaud began his career at Alcoa, where he served in many capacities across every aspect of human resources and labor relations and ultimately was the Global Director of Human Resources. He is a Board member of the Detroit Manufacturing Renaissance Council, the Global Employment Institute, and the Michigan State University School of Human Resources Advisory Board.
