Briana Valdez, aka “Breezy” loves people, food and community. She is not a chef and prior to HomeState had never run a business. By her own account she “carved her way into the restaurant business”, driven by a mission to share an untold story, her and her families’ story of Texas and bring high quality food and hospitality to a neighborhood setting. Briana opened HomeState in December 2013 in Hollywood, a second location in Highland Park in 2018 and the first Westside location in Playa Vista this past Spring.
