Tom’s passion is in live performance and attractions. The blending all of the visual theatrical frameworks with technology has been at the core of his Creative and Artistic Direction. Tom has worked for a plethora of well-known individuals and companies such as The Walt Disney Corporation, Universal Studios, Dreamworks SKG, The Hettema Group, Paramount, Thinkwell Design and Production, and the Hilton Corporation. Uniting his skills in Lighting, Scenic, Projection and Illusion design his career spans many theatrical, large scale event and attraction disciplines. Examples include Meet Mickey Attraction and Tarzan at Shanghai Disney Resort along with Mystic Rhythms at Tokyo Disney Sea to production design for a world class opera house theater with surround 3D LED screens in Illusions. From scenic and magic design for Imagine at the Luxor in Las Vegas to theatrical scenic/lighting design for world-renowned British director William Gaskil s, The Trojan Women and Saint Joan of the Stockyard. For large scale still and video imagery, Tom was director to many Corporate and theatrical shows that utilized have 90’ tall, 200 degree registered video on full scale buildings/organic scenery with multi-plane video projection. His projections can also be seen in multiple ice shows, including How To Train Your Dragon, on ice. For his work with Universal Studios and The Walt Disney Company, Tom was awarded the prestigious THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement in themed entertainment for Fear Factor Live at Universal Studios Hollywood and Mystic Rhythms as part of Tokyo Disney Sea.
