Michael Hourihan is a Vice President in Structure Tone Organization's ("STO") Chief Ethics and Compliance Counsel's Office, with cross-departmental assistance provided to the General Counsel's Office. His is an effective, results oriented manager and creative problem solver, with a legal, accounting, finance, project management and real estate development background. Mr. Hourihan' s work at STO includes the development of ethics and compliance, contractual and risk management policies and procedures. These have been coordinated and integrated into STO's enterprise management system to enhance management controls and reporting. He has also been charged with developing and implementing enhancements in STO's owner and trade subcontractor contracting policies and procedures. Previously, Mr. Hourihan served as the Chief Administrative Officer & Counsel at Bravo Builder, LLC, a $500 million residential high-rise builder in Manhattan. There he helped establish the company's sundry administrative functions, this included benefits, contracting, financial reporting, human resources, risk management, and safety policies and procedures. Prior to Bravo Builders, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Greenfield Manhattan Group, Inc., which is a New York based construction and real estate development company focused on the redevelopment of luxury residences and brownstone town homes in Manhattan and Brooklyn. He managed Greenfield's day-to-day operations, including all development, field operational, legal, risk management and safety functions. Mr. Hourihan began his career as an international tax attorney and was a partner at KPMG's New York Tax Practice. There, he advised major domestic & international banking, broker dealer, and real estate clients on domestic and international tax matters.
