I am the proud mother of two children and one grand child. I am the proud wife of a very dedicated and hardworking husband. I am a college graduate. I have been a stay at home mom, a business owner, a volunteer, an advocate, a counselor, and a substitute teacher for the 23 years of my life. I am a 20 + year PTA volunteer who has served in various positions over the years in 5 different States. This past two years I have had the pleasure of serving as the Northwest ISD Council President. I am still waiting to see where God will place me next. I have worked in schools for many years with students in middle school and high school. My journey has allowed me to work with students with learning disabilities, social inabilities, and drug issues. My encounters have taught me a great deal. I am the mother of a teenage addict.
