For over 20 years, William Downer (Bill) has held senior sales and marketing leadership roles with Sun Micro Systems, Silicon Graphics (SGI), Quantum and Mellanox Technologies. Bill has deep knowledge and experience with the Department of Defense and Intelligence communities in programs where the use of High Performance Computing, Parallel File Systems and Storage enable data collection and analysis within the constraints of secure data networks. In his current role as Director of Intelligence for Seagate Government Solutions, Bill has utilized his experience to contribute to the development and GA release of Seagate’s Secure Data Appliance (SDA) and it’s supporting ecosystem.
