Colonel Chad E. LeMaire is the Deputy Director of Air and Cyberspace Operations and Chief Information Officer, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. He is responsible for ensuring PACAF provides ready air, space, and cyberspace power to promote the United States’ interests in the Indo-Pacific region during peacetime, crisis and war. In this capacity, Col LeMaire leads the Warfighting Headquarters staff providing cyberspace operations, combat communications, and command and control support to the Commander of PACAF, combatant commanders, and assigned forces. Furthermore, he oversees cyber operations and sustainment at three Numbered Air Forces and 10 wings. Additionally, he manages a $2.5B Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) portfolio and is the functional leader for more than 3,500 cyber personnel. Col LeMaire is a 1991 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a cyberspace operator with 27 years of experience and has held key positions at squadron, Air Force, and joint levels. He commanded the 92nd Information Operations Squadron, where he was responsible for assessing the integrity, security, and defense posture of Air Force and Department of Defense cyber assets. In addition, he organized the squadron to conduct cyber hunt missions on Air Force and Department of defense networks. Col LeMaire deployed as the chief of information operations for a special operations task force, chief of cyber operations at the Combined Air and Space Operations Center, as well as the Deputy Officer In Charge and Lead Operational Planner for the Expeditionary Cyber Support Element – Afghanistan.
