Brian Shimberg, BS-EMC, NRP, has over 20 years of experience in pre-hospital medicine. He was instrumental in opening the Emergency Medical Education and Simulation Center at Mecklenburg EMS Agency. With over 11 years of experience with high fidelity simulation, he has extensive knowledge of scenario development and execution as well as debriefing. Additionally, he has spent the last 10 years serving as a Special Operations Paramedic supporting the missions of local SWAT teams, Bomb Squad and Civil Emergency Unit.
