Venkata Siddartha Dasari (Sid Dasari) P.E., PMP is a Protection Engineer at Entergy. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. Sid performed Entergy system modeling activities and developed the necessary workflows, standard documents and training materials. He was a team lead and represented Entergy at the NATF System Modeling/Protection practices group and at the SERC SCDWG meetings. He performed the voltage reversal studies for the Entergy system and supported the system protection standards update process. Currently, he is the lead protection engineer for Texas and is working towards implementation of Entergy’s IEC 61850 pilot project II. Prior to joining Entergy, Sid has worked at University of Houston’s Central Plant as a Research student intern and has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Houston.
