Stacey Atella has 20 years of experience providing regulatory compliance and project management support for major natural gas pipeline systems. With a technical background in critical issues analyses, planning, permitting, training program development, and construction compliance management, she is uniquely qualified to manage the environmental aspects of a FERC-regulated project from siting to in-service. As pipeline operators rush to meet aggressive in-service schedule demands of end-users and exporters looking to capitalize on low gas prices, she has noticed that little time is left for adequate due diligence of routing, engineering, constructability, and stakeholder concerns before projects enter the permitting process. Stacey’s mission is to help clients avoid late-stage changes that can derail project budgets and schedules. An aerospace engineer by training with astronaut aspirations, her collegiate mantra “failure is not an option” continues to serve her well in the dynamic and sometimes daunting world of pipeline permitting.
