Kelly Adams, EMT-B/Firefighter has worked 14 years as an EMT with the Detroit Fire Department . In October 2015 she and her partner were violently attacked by a patients boyfriend. The incident lead to the Detroit Fire Department implementing a multipronged training strategy to better prepare staff for real-world violence.
