Steve Piatz

Steve Piatz is a BJCP Grand Master VIII judge, one of the BJCP Exam Directors and past AHA Mead Maker of the Year. He is also the author of The Complete Guide to Making Mead. Steve is a co-founder of the Minnesota Mashout Competition and has won Best of Show in multiple competitions with beer and mead.
