Veronica Anzalone is a registered nurse with 16 years of healthcare experience. She joined Craneware’s consulting team as a Clinical Appeals Specialist in 2013. Veronica’s clinical background is strongly rooted in Cardiovascular services, both outpatient and inpatient, including five years as a circulating nurse in a busy mixed cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology laboratory. In addition to her experience as a Medicare/ Medicaid and Medicare Managed Care Audit Coordinator and appeals nurse, Veronica’s revenue cycle experience includes charge capture, quality, and compliance initiatives. Her expertise in clinical appeals was expanded at Craneware to include commercial denials and expert testimony and client representation at Medicare Administrative Law Judge Hearings. Veronica joined Craneware’s Marketing team as a Marketing Manager in 2017; in this role, Veronica works closely with Craneware customers to bring stories of value cycle excellence and Better Outcomes for All to a wider audience. She is the chairperson of Craneware’s charitable committee, Craneware Cares, and is a certified Craneware Lean Leaner and Lean Champion.
