Elizabeth is an attorney, HR professional, and diversity practitioner with a successful record of working with business leaders, executives and teams to accomplish organizational goals. As Partner and Chief Diversity Officer, she is responsible for the development and implementation of the diversity and inclusion components of the firm's strategic plan. She collaborates with the firm's Labor and Employment Section attorneys and supports clients in their HR, compliance, and diversity and inclusion strategic efforts. Elizabeth is a frequent speaker, training facilitator and author on the topic of diversity and inclusion and related employment law topics. Elizabeth received her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the American University in Washington, D.C. and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Elizabeth is active in several non-profits involving education including the United Negro Scholarship Fund (Leadership Council member) and the Council on Legal Education Opportunity (Board member). Her previous roles with Texas PTA included serving as a Board member for six years, including four years as the Chair of the Inclusiveness Committee and two years as the VP of Membership. She is the proud parent of two adult sons.
