Andreas Claesson, PhD, RN, EMT-P is a researcher at the Karolinska Institute’s Centre for Resuscitation Science in Sweden, where he investigates novel methods for early defibrillation in OHCA, such as SMS dispatch of trained laypersons and the use of drones to deliver AEDs. He’s also an active paramedic and has more than 20 years of experience in EMS in Western Sweden.
