Colonel Timothy D. Presby is the Chief, TRADOC Capability Manager (TCM) for Cyber, Fort Gordon, GA. TCM Cyber is the user advocate for doctrine, organizational, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facility (DOTMLPF) solutions that support defensive cyberspace operations (DCO), offensive cyberspace operations (OCO), cyberspace situational understanding (CyberSU), and the persistent training environment (PTE) ensuring mission success across the force in support of Unified Land Operations. His previous assignments include Chief, C4 Operations, Plans, and Exercises Branch, J6 United States European Command; Commander, 369th Signal Battalion, Fort Gordon, GA; and Chief of Communications, National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC) at United States Strategic Command, Offutt AFB. He has also served on faculty as an assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the United States Military Academy at West Pont. His deployment assignments include Operation IRAQI FREEDOM as the S3, 67th Signal Battalion and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM as the CJ6, Coalition Joint Civil-Military Operations Task Force. COL Presby has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
