Yasmary Diaz serves as a manager of software engineering in the Cloud Infrastructure and Operations department at Ultimate Software, which delivers the cloud-based HR, payroll, and talent management suite, UltiPro®. Yasmary and her team run a platform that allows UltiPro’s developers to push applications into the cloud and troubleshoot, address, and resolve any potential issues. Additionally, she oversees the building and extension of a variety of managed services that empower continued product innovation, ensure UltiPro functionality, and fully support Ultimate’s developers and consultants. Yasmary has worked in the software technology industry for more than 12 years, including tenures with global companies like IBM. She realized her passion for computers at the early age of nine, and developed her first program using BASIC by 11. Yasmary holds a master’s degree in computer science from Florida International University and began a new chapter of her life this year by becoming a mother. She enjoys brewing beer in her spare time.
