As Director of Sector Development and Business Services Danica develops and maintains business relationships to identify and address short-term and strategic workforce needs by industry/sector in the South Central region. Her role includes the driving of multiple sector teams to address diversified workforce challenges and collaborative solutions that support regional economic growth. Danica is a statewide leader in business solutions in workforce development, working in collaboration with industry leaders, non-profit organizations and colleagues from across the state. She played an active role in implementing and maintaining a statewide cloud based CRM tool to track business activities for numerous agencies, coordinated three statewide business solutions conferences (Collabor8) and helped to establish a standardized business solutions training for workforce development partners across the state. She is additionally responsible for managing organizations responsible for delivering adult and dislocated worker services under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Oversees all contracted programs that involve participant engagement, monitors program success, provides technical assistance to contractors and analyzes program efficiencies.
