Mate is a Principal Consultant at Ricardo Energy & Environment working in the Transaction Advisory Team advising on economic and financial viability of power projects. He is a graduate of Hult International Business School - Shanghai (MBA) and the University of Pecs, Hungary (Corporate Finance, M.Sc.). Mate brings extensive experience in strategy, financial analysis, project financing and M&A from his work at a Chinese power EPC company based in Beijing, Engie (formerly GDF Suez) in Hungary as well as from his tenure as senior advisor at KPMG covering electricity, energy and utility sectors in the Central and East European (CEE) region. He also draws on his experience from Chevron asset development projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
