Frantz Tiffeau became the Director of Supplier Diversity and Development for Nationwide Insurance in October of 2013, where he has been leveraging his extensive experience to: • Establish diverse supplier mentoring and professional development opportunities • Deepen relationships with certifying diversity organizations to identify strategic, mutually beneficial opportunities. • Advance organizational goals in leveraging diverse suppliers to reflect the communities Nationwide serves. Prior to joining Nationwide this past October, Frantz served in a variety of positions at Office Depot, for more than 17 years, where he most recently served as Office Depot’s Head of Diversity Initiatives. In this capacity he: • Set the strategy and direction for a team charged with selecting and managing the relationships that Office Depot has with all minority, woman-owned and small business partners, and suppliers for internal procurement, resale and merchandising. • Provided leadership for internal diversity development and awareness programs, initiatives and networks. • Prior to that, he spent 9 years in progressive positions within operations, implementation and logistics working with all of Office Depot’s national distribution centers, warehouses and sales teams. Frantz currently holds several board positions with different national and regional organizations including: • Vice Chair of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce’s Procurement Council • Advisory Board member of Affinity Inc. Magazine • Board member of Institute for Supply Management’s Diversity Council • Board member of Institute for Supply Management’s Supplier Diversity Group
