Thirty years in nuclear field and service, at Ansaldo Nucleare SpA, he is manager of the Field Operations Technical Unit, i.e. the unit responsible for operational assistance, plant status assessment and life extension, construction and commissioning supervision. The main experience is on fluid systems process design for the nuclear industry. He has been assigned to Westinghouse in USA (1990-1991) in the fluid system design development of AP600 NPP. He was also involved in the commissioning of Cernavoda Unit 1 NPP in Romania (1995-1997) with the role of test execution supervisor and in the commissioning of waste treatment facilities in Italy (2007-2009) as commissioning manager.
