Maggie Mae Kennedy

Spring Branch ISD


Maggie Mae Kennedy has worked in Child Nutrition for over 10 years. During that time, she has had roles in Houston ISD, Galena Park ISD and is currently the Assistant Director of Child Nutrition at Spring Branch ISD in Houston, Texas. She has contributed to the development and execution of the manager training program, L.E.A.D. and Leading Impact. Kennedy designed and implemented the current processes to streamline onboarding and training for incoming Operations Managers in the Nutrition Services Department, which has reduced early turnover complications and labor required to onboard. Maggie Mae is currently serving as the Public Policy & Legislation Chair for the Texas Association of School Nutrition and on the Membership Committee for SNA.
