Jamie Elswick started the attractions industry at Kings Island Amusement Park in Mason, Ohio when he was 16 years old. In 1983, Jamie took his only break from the attractions industry and began serving our country as an Airborne Paratrooper for SOCOM (Special Operations Command) and 7th Special Forces at Ft. Bragg, NC until 1990. After leaving the military, Jamie returned to the attractions industry serving as Director of Food Services for America Amusement Park (1991), Revenue Director for Niagara Falls Waterpark (1992) and Food & Beverage Director for Schlitterbahn Waterpark in New Braunfels, TX (1993). In 1994, Jamie joined a group of investors who purchased from bankruptcy Emerald Pointe Waterpark in Greensboro, NC. and grew it to the 10th largest attended waterpark in 1999 before selling it off. Jamie saw this as an opportunity to change course from park ownership to park supplier where for the last 19 years, Jamie has been helping attractions, and cultural venues increase attendance, increase per caps and enhance guests experience by deploying new Ticketing and Point-of-Sale technology. Presently, Jamie is employed by Gateway Ticketing Systems as a Business Solutions Engineer.
