Dr. Syed Salman Asad is leading the Research and development team and activities at Plasmatreat GmbH which is the world market leader in the field of atmospheric plasma sources and innovative technologies. Holding a BS. in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and Doctorate in Surface and Process Engineering, his technical expertise lies in the development of innovative coatings and new plasma sources. He has authored/coauthored several papers and patent applications. He is also responsible for exploring new technological boundaries and developing collaboration with innovative partners. Currently, his team is working on multiple German and European projects, in addition to hundreds of client projects.
