Rance Fortenberry

Rance Fortenberry is Director of Technology at Alluxa Inc., focusing on thin film coating R&D, after having developed an interest in thin films while at the telecom startup Cierra Photonics. Prior to that he was with Agilent Technologies, HP Laboratories, the University of Melbourne in Australia and 3M, focused mainly on laser technology and telecommunications. His interest in optics was established during his Ph.D. work in the Optical Sciences Center at the University of Arizona and has resulted in multiple patents and more than 50 technical publications.
