Jayesh Shah is an Interim Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Oshawa Power and Utilities Corporation (OPUC), Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. He has Master’s degree in Engineering and Business Administration. Jayesh has more than 20 years of experience in power system transmission and distribution planning, design and analysis. He has completed various national and international projects in power system planning and various types of generator interconnection. He has published and presented technical papers in various IEEE and CCECE conferences and offers graduate course on smart grid. At present, Jayesh is involved in planning and development of Combined Heat and Power plants, microgrid and energy storage projects in combination with different distributed generation technologies.
