Mr. Mathew is the Metering and Billing Manager at Halifax Water who joined the organization in 2009. Prior to his current role, Shiju was involved in the Geomatics industry for the 19 years as a Cartographer and GIS Analyst. Shiju is the business owner of 36-month Customer Connect project that involves upgrading the 83,000 old meter infrastructure to AMI meters. Shiju graduated from Mumbai University (India) in Life Sciences and from the Centre of Geographic Sciences (Nova Scotia, Canada) with a Diploma in Cartography. In 2015, Shiju earned his Master of Business Administration with honors from St. Mary’s University (Nova Scotia, Canada). As part of his MBA program, Mr. Mathew represented Taste of Nova Scotia on an International Trade Mission to Ecuador and successfully defended his thesis: Introduction of Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Technology - A Formal Change Management Process at Halifax Water.
