UW Food Research Institute
Kathy Glass is Associate Director at the UW-Madison Food Research Institute. As a research scientist since 1985, Kathy oversees challenge studies to validate food safety. She has served as a member or in leadership roles for several professional associations and scientific advisory committees. Kathy co-developed the curriculum for the Better Process Cheese School, and is an instructor for Dairy HACCP, Preventive Controls for Human Foods, Meat Microbiology, and Microbial Challenge Testing of Foods Workshops. Dr. Glass has more than 65 invited presentations, 60 technical abstracts, 40 peer-reviewed publications, and two book chapters.
