Mark Gittleman is the President & CEO of Alpha Space Test and Research Alliance, which owns and operates MISSE, the only commercial, external testing facility in space. Before joining Alpha Space he was Executive Vice President of Intuitive Machines, a product development think tank dedicated to commercializing NASA derived technologies. Prior to Intuitive Machines, Mark spent over 30 years with Oceaneering International. His Oceaneering career began as a commercial diver and includes helping to found Oceaneering Space Systems and leading it for 13 years as its VP&GM, and four years as vice president of Oceaneering’s worldwide subsea controls business unit. Mark has degrees in ocean engineering and political science and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
