Josh Langsfeld is a robotics engineer at Southwest Research Institute in the Manufacturing and Robotics Technologies department of the Intelligent Systems division. He has been at SwRI since July 2017 and had completed his PhD in robotics at the University of Maryland in early 2017. At SwRI, Josh focuses on robot software development and participates in the ROS-Industrial initiative, with the goal of bringing advanced and flexible robot technology to more traditional automation domains.
