Stephane Croigny has been working as Commercial Advisor at the U.S. Embassy to the Kingdom of Belgium in Brussels since 2004. In his position Stephane covers among other sectors Energy and Renewable Energy, Environmental Technologies, Construction, and Green Building. Stephane is responsible for the Commercial relations between the French-speaking region of Belgium and the United States. As a specialist in the fields of Environment and Renewable Energy, Stephane is a core member of the Department of Commerce’s Global Energy Team and Global Environmental Team and leads the Commercial Service Europe Smart Energy Team. Prior to joining the Embassy, Stephane worked as an International Sales Manager in the stainless-steel industry in Antwerp. Stephane holds U.S. and Belgian citizenship and currently lives in Brussels. He speaks French and Dutch with basic notions of German and holds a graduate degree in International Trade from EPHEC business school in Brussels. Stephane is married, with two children.
