Jon Chavez has over 15 years of experience in program development, technology management, business strategy and partnerships. Jon graduated from the University of New Mexico with an MBA in 2005 and a BBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems in 2004. Jon currently serves as the Manager for Sandia’s National Security Partnerships and Business Development department. This team comprises of over 20 staff members providing embedded partnership and business development expertise to various Sandia program areas that focus on developing pathfinder technology programs for Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) applications. Jon has expertise across several technology areas but most notably has led several high priority program and strategy development efforts in the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) portfolio area. Jon’s work experience and demonstrated skill set has established him as a recognized subject matter expert in partnerships, strategy and program development, especially with regards to defense and national security applications.
