Dale was appointed as the Section Chief, Insider Threat Center on April 20, 2014 and led the development of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Insider Threat Program (InTP) from the ground up after being charged with “building the best Insider Threat Program in the United States government” by the Deputy Director of FBI. Over the subsequent four years Dale led the building of the FBI’s InTP until his retirement in March 2018 after 22 years of service Mr. Killinger served as an enlisted soldier with the Army’s 2nd Ranger Battalion from 1980 – 1984, participating in Operation Urgent Fury in the country of Grenada and the rescue of hostages there, he holds a BA from Millersville University, Millersville, Pennsylvania, is an FBI certified Police Instructor and Crisis Negotiator.
