Betty Johnson began her career with the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles in 1982. She has held a variety of positions and is currently Administrator of the Driver and Vehicle Records Division. In this position she is responsible for oversight of the DMV Fraud Unit and the title, registration, handicap parking permit, and driver license issuance processes. She also acts as liaison to the 93 County Treasurer offices involved in the motor vehicle operations. Ms. Johnson is involved in activities hosted by the Nebraska Association of County Officials and has been an active participant in the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators activities for the past twenty years.
