Project Director for the global outsourcing of support services for U.S. visa applicants 2009-2011. State Department Coordinator for the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative 2008-9. Office Director for Field Program in the Visa Office with responsibility for coordinating U.S. Visa Waiver Program expansion 2006-7. Served as a Foreign Service Officer in charge of visa operations in the United Kingdom, 2002-2006. Served in the Visa Office working on systems development, data-sharing and biometrics programs 2000-2002. Served as a Foreign Service Officer in charge of visa operations in Poland 1997-2000 with responsibility for immigrant and diversity visas in Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus. Served as a Foreign Service Officer in China and Japan and as a program officer covering East and Southeast Asia for the Bureau of Narcotics and Law Enforcement. Speaks Chinese and Japanese.
