Mr. Buss joined Integrated Biometrics in June of 2012 to assist them in defining their technology & business development strategies for their newly emerging leadership fingerprint capture technologies and to help drive enterprise sales as an OEM technology provider. Prior to joining Integrated Biometrics, Tom had recently retired from a 12 year career at Cross Match technologies where he helped guide Cross Match from its initial entry into the Livescan market to its current position as a leading worldwide provider of high quality fingerprint and identity management products and services. Mr. Buss played key business development roles in the creation and introduction of the most successful products in the history of the Company, which includes the Guardian 10 print fingerprint scanner product primarily used by DHS and DoS and also the SEEK hand held multimodal enrollment and identification product which has been the product of choice in the DOD market space. Prior to joining Cross Match Technologies, Tom worked at Motorola Inc. for 26 years in the communications industry, holding various positions as General Manager, Operations Manager, Business unit manager, Product manager, and various Engineering management positions. He has extensive experience in technical management, manufacturing, field deployment, customer development, and service. Mr. Buss received his BSEE from the University of Illinois and his MBA from Nova University.
