Antonio Rizzi
Full Professor—Industrial Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Antonio Rizzi is a full professor of logistics and supply chain management in the University of Parma’s Industrial Engineering Department. In 2006 he founded the University’s RFID Lab. The lab was the first Italian laboratory which tested RFID UHF class1, gen2 applications, and became a recognized research center for RFID applications both in the Italian and international context. His scientific interests are mainly related to logistics and supply chain management. In recent years, Dr. Rizzi’s research has focused on the application of advanced auto-ID and data-sharing technologies for supply chain management, such as RFID and the Internet of Things.
