Sailesh Chander is currently employed as a Sales and Technical Manager for the Steam Turbines business at Siemens Power and Gas Division in Malaysia. He obtained his degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leicester (UK) and has a Post Grad Diploma in Accounting and Finance (ACCA UK). Upon completing his tertiary education he has accumulated professional experience of more than 20 years in the field of power generation. He initially worked internationally on several Siemens led combined cycle power plants in the field of C&I engineering, erection & commissioning and project management before assuming a role at the Siemens steam turbine hub-sales division where he covers the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
