Paul Andersen is currently the Technology and Business Development Director for Johnson Matthey’s Stationary Emission Control (SEC) group. Johnson Matthey’s SEC group manufactures catalysts and systems for the control of emissions from marine, locomotive, and stationary power generation sources. Paul has worked at Johnson Matthey since 1992 on the development of emission control catalysts for mobile and stationary applications including Three-Way Catalysts, NOx Adsorber Catalysts, SCR Catalysts, and Oxidation Catalysts. Paul came to Johnson Matthey from Northwestern University where he received a PhD in Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining Northwestern University, Paul worked at the Amoco Chemical Company Research Center in Naperville, IL. In 1985 Paul received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois (Urbana, IL).
