Dr. Shengli CAO, Sunny is a Chemical Engineer specializing in Process Safety Analysis (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, PSM etc.), QRA, F&G Mapping and Project Risk Management. He has participated and facilitated HAZOP and SIL workshops for oil & gas production, refinery, storage facilities and chemical production at various locations. He has been recognized as a Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP). He has led a number of QRA studies on Petrochemical complex, Chemical production facilities, Biodiesel plants, LPG facilities, NG pipelines and installations, Petroleum / LPG / LNG transport, Explosives, Chlorine, Electronic Special Gases, as well as Fire and Gas Detection Mapping for Oil & Gas facilities. He has played key roles in several projects particularly in physical and numerical modelling, and developed a variety of risk assessment softwares for 3-D Fire and Gas Detection Mapping ERM F&GPro©, 3-D Explosive Risk Assessment, and Chlorine Dispersion Risk Assessment Tool.
