Mark is Head of Earth Observation (EO) and Agri-Tech Lead at the Satellite Applications Catapult. He has broad experience in the commercial and research exploitation of EO technologies across numerous market sectors and is a leading expert in the commercial application of UAV and satellite technologies within precision farming applications. Prior to joining the Catapult, Mark was Operations Manager at URSULA Agriculture, a pioneering start-up focused on developing new agricultural solutions using remotely sensed data from UAVs for use across the agricultural sector. Since joining the Catapult, Mark has been responsible for developing and delivering projects around the globe that bring together local end users with UK companies and academia to develop new and innovative solutions. Mark is also a Fellow and Chartered Geographer of the Royal Geographical Society and is the current Vice-Chairman of the UK Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc).
