Phil Downen - Vice President, Government Programs Mr. Downen leads business development, strategic planning, and customer engagement for U.S. Government Agencies with emerging needs in Remote Sensing, Earth Observation, Big Data, Service Enabled Content, and Service Enabled Analytics. Prior to joining UrtheCast, he served as Senior Director of Product Engineering for GeoEye and DigitalGlobe and has a foundation in science and engineering, optical metrology, sensor calibration, and image quality assessment. Mr. Downen helps develop strategy and value propositions for UrtheCast’s EO and SAR sources for a full spectrum of applications ranging from supporting the warfighter to humanitarian relief efforts to business analytics.
