Tammy currently serves as the head of Business and Marketing Operations for the Networked Solutions Business of Itron. She is responsible for the day to day operational effectiveness, financial accountability, and execution of marketing strategies for Itron’s network products and solutions. Tammy joined Itron in March of 2016 overseeing strategic planning, development and coordination of marketing communications programs and strategic marketing initiatives to promote the sale of the OpenWay Riva IoT solution for the electric, water, and gas utility markets, and smart cities. Tammy works out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to joining Itron, Tammy was the Chief Marketing Officer of Tantalus Systems, a smart grid communications network company based in Burnaby, British Columbia where she was responsible for all product management, product marketing, pricing, marketing programs, client proposals, and marcom from 2010 until 2015. Her primary customers were electric utilities. Tammy started her career in the energy industry in Finance & Accounting in 1993 with ABB. She later held management positions in Market Development and Strategic Marketing during her 17-year career with ABB North America’s Energy Division where she led the development of the first smart grid strategy plan for ABB. Tammy holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and an MBA.
