Dr. Navran is the Chief Scientific Officer at Synthecon. Over the last 20 years, he has contributed to the improvement and advancement of the NASA-designed Rotary Cell Culture System and developed new commercial applications for this microgravity bioreactor, with special emphasis on 3D tissue engineering stem cells and regenerative medicine. Dr. Navran is the CEO of Animatus Biosciences, a company for commercialization of new regenerative medical technologies developed from a partnership between Synthecon and the University of Houston. He is also a former faculty member of the Baylor College of Medicine.
