Chris Tobie is a Collision Business Specialist for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. He joined the company in 2004 as an Instructional Designer for technical training curriculum.
Chris has supported American Honda’s collision repair technical needs since 2013. He created the popular Body Repair News publications to inform the collision industry about vehicle technology. Chris also develops and writes the Honda “HON” collision repair training courses delivered online by I-CAR. He works closely with the Honda Motor Co., Ltd. Body-Paint Team in Japan.
Chris began his automotive career in 1985 as a dealer technician in North Carolina. After earning a B.S. in Automotive Industry Management from Colorado State University – Pueblo, he held various technical positions with other auto manufacturers. Chris is a genuine “car guy” with extensive experience in vehicle restoration and fabrication.
